You will buy the solar electricity the solar panels produce at a low rate of just $0.19c per kWh.

Who owns the solar asset?
United Solar Energy will install a suitable solar PV system matched to your daytime energy needs, the solar panel system and installation will NOT cost you a single cent to supply and install on your suitable roof space.
OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE
The solar asset will be owned by our national renewable energy funder through a superannuation fund that will benefit retirees with a better return on their investment. The solar asset will be FULLY maintained during the initial 7-year term and at the end, the ownership passes over to you with NO out of pocket cost and the solar electricity is now FREE.

SUITABILITY
You must consume most of your daily electricity during the day and have an empty roof for solar panels.
LOW ENERGY RATE
You will agree to consume the electricity and pay a fixed rate of only $0.19c / kWh.
ROOF SPACE
You must have enough roof space to install solar panels that will cover your daytime electricity usage.
BONUS
Once the fixed energy rate term is completed, you will own the solar asset.

Commonly Asked Questions
IS THIS RATE LOWER THAN WHAT I HAVE NOW?
For the majority of customers the SunPlan rate will be significantly lower than your current grid rate. This will reduce the cost of your overall electricity costs every month.
WILL SUNPLAN SUPPLY ALL OF MY POWER?
SunPlan via the solar panels on your roof will ONLY supply the daytime electricity. Your current grid provider will supply any power that the solar panels can’t so there is NO interruption to your business throughout the day or night 365 days of the year.
HOW DO I GET BILLED?
You will be billed by the funders billing service for the solar electricity, the grid electricity and grid supply costs will continue to be billed by your current power company.
